About Wendy Milton …
As a child, Wendy wanted to be a writer. As a teacher, she stressed the importance of reading and of encouraging children to love books. Now a retiree, she writes humorous fantasies and adventures for eight to twelve year-olds.
Wendy’s first book, The Doolally Kid, was traditionally published by Lothian. It has since grown into twelve books, including a five-book series (Angel of Fire, Sophie’s Return, Nemesis, Spooks, and Finding Cathcart), and a two-book series (The Boy Who Disappeared and Rafferty’s Rules). Other stand-alone books include The Enchanted Urn, A Stitch in Time, Missing Uncle Izzy and Taking Stock.
Wendy’s one adult book, a ‘whodunnit’, is set in the 1970s in the Southern Highlands of NSW. The story revolves around the bizarre murder of the headmaster of an exclusive girls’ school.

Zach’s Story is a series of five books following the other-worldly adventures of Zach Brinkley and his VERY different group of friends …

Angel of Fire is a lively, up-beat tale for young readers aged 8 to 12 years who like action, quirky characters, and a good dose of humour …
